The Department's 25th birthday celebrations opened with ... another birthday! On the occasion of Robert Burns' 260th anniversary, we sang, danced, acted and mentioned interesting facts about his his life and work. Here's a taste of it:
Celebrations continued with the promotion of Shkodra through leaflets written in English by our 3rd year students.
The course on English Literature concluded with a beautiful activity on the Romantic period.
National Book Month is held each October in Albania. This month celebration focuses on the importance of reading, writing, and literature. The best way to celebrate is to read and encourage readers across the country to share their love of books. That is what we did on the 31st of October.

Students unfolded their creativity by writing personal narratives, quoting, reciting, singing, drawing and even showed the power of non-verbal language through dancing.
An exhibition on American Literature & Culture will conclude the activities on the Department's 25th birthday, Saturday 23 November.
